Re-Designing My Stencils nStorage.....Again

Ok so I went to look for a stencil the other day and got sick of looking in the bins again. Everything was tangled. Things were hard to find. Soooo....

Back to binders for me. I will be doing a video soon, but here is a list of what I am using and why.

For the mini stencils 4 x 6 inches or small. I am using a mini photo album from amazon. They fit perfectly and it holds 100 photos.

For the next size bigger stencils I am using these Avery Mini Binders with the Tim Holtz Stamp Sleeves or mini binder page protectors. Both work well.

For 6 x 6 inch stencils I am using this American Crafts 6 x 6 inch D-ring Binder with inserts.

For the larger 12 x 12 inch stencils I have gone back to American Crafts and gotten their larger binder with sleeves.

The American Crafts binders hold a lot of stencils FYI. Sorting my stencils this way by rough size makes it easier to find what I want for the project I am working on and it is much easier and less frustrating to flip a binder rather than dig thru a bin or drawer. I do really wish there was one central web site we could shop for affordable stencil storage options....rather than going all over the web. Maybe some day.

If you don’t have loads of space to have them hanging or in open bins this may be the choice for you. My space is small.....only 10 feet by 10 feet. So a binder I can put away works. What do you do?
